About the Author
Rev. Mark Etter has been a pastor for over thirty years and is currently the pastor of a Bethany Lutheran Church in Northern Kentucky. He graduated from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri with a Master of Divinity degree and from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Mark has published several books of Adult Bible studies and numerous devotions and youth studies with Concordia Publishing House in St. Louis. He has served the greater church as a pastoral coach, evangelism chairman, and circuit counselor. He is married to Joan and they have three grown children who live in Kentucky and Indiana.
In His spare time, he loves to go camping across the United States so that he can enjoy the national and state parks and learn from the many historic sites of our nation. He still uses his musical training as he leads the praise team at his church and sings in the choir. His life goal is to create a series of 32 day devotions that will open sections of the scripture to others so people can be closer to Christ by the power of the stories and teachings of the Bible. He enjoys seeing people discover how great our God really is so that they can love God and live in God’s blessings.
