Sermons for churches and personal growth

These sermons are for the times when you just want to dig deeper into the scripture and for times when a church may not have a pastor for a given Sunday. The sermons fit the theme of the seasons of the church year. You will find sermons for Advent and Christmas as well as Lent and Easter. The sermons are also written in series so that you can often use them for personal or church use at other times of the year. My hope is that they will be a blessing for you and help you grow in your faith and knowledge of the Lord.

If you are using these in a church, my prayer is that they provide an alternative to the Sundays that you are not able to find a pastor for the service. You might be able to get a pastor for two services in a month and use one of the sermon series to fill in the Sundays in between. The sermons are available in Word format so that you can edit them and make them fit in your situation. Pastors are welcome to use the sermons as the jumping off point for writing your own sermon. All the messages are in an outline in paragraph form. The sermons follow a single Biblical text and try to teach people what God is saying to the people of Bible times and to us as we both deal with some of the same challenges in life. They are offered, not to lecture you but to encourage you and give food for your soul.
